OUR HISTORY & ETHOS

Our doors opened in 1994, at the accomplished hands of Paolo Caraffini and Frank di Rienzo. With over 60 years of combined restaurant experience, Caraffini quickly became an icon on Chelsea’s Italian restaurant scene.

Together, they built a talented, professional team of staff, most of whom have been with us for many years.

Family is at the heart of the business. Today, the restaurant continues to be overseen by Paolo, accompanied by his daughter, Francesca, and Frank’s son, Matthew.
